Sierra Ramblers FMCA Chapter

The Sierra Ramblers Chapter was formed in April 1991. Our Chapter is open to anyone who is a member of Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) and owns at least 1/3 of an FMCA approved self-contained RV. You do not have to own any certain brand of self-contained RV, just as long as it is considered a self-contained unit. We have new, old, big, and small units.

What does our Club do?

We meet every other month, February, April (Chapter Anniversary), June, August, October, and December. You are not required to attend a certain number of meetings in a year. We do volunteer each January at the Western Area (FMCA) rally in Indio. Most of our members are from the Sacramento area, Southern California, Arizona, Oregon, and some full timers.

About Us

Our dues are $15.00 a year. When you apply for membership there is a fee of $30.00. This fee includes the first year dues, your badges and also patches that can be put on a Chapter jacket or a hat. We have a newsletter, "The Sierra Messenger" which is published bi-monthly. In our newsletter you can read about what happened at the last rally, and also see the schedule for upcoming rallies. Sometimes the rallies start on a Wednesday or a Thursday, ending on Sunday morning. Other times a rally may start on Monday and end on Friday. Most of our rallies are held at fairgrounds, but once in a while we go to a private campground.

If you would like to attend a rally just to see what we are like, you are more than welcome to come see if we are a group you would like to be part of. You do not have to join to come to a rally to "Check Us Out".

If we can answer any further questions you might have about our Chapter, please use our "Contact Us" Form.
